NoHDDStandby was developed for examinations the

network-connections with external harddisks. Many

manufacturers of external drives put solid invariable

Standbytimes into her drives. The hard disk drives go down,

and the arms reach their parkposition. Has Windows for long

time no grab to the netdrives, say the system, it doesn't

have any connection to the drive. Only when you click again

on this connection, Windows try to connect the drive. The

hard disk now gets the command to starting again. This

lasts up to 10 seconds according to starting. Within this

time, Windows, that doesn't pass any networkconnection,

usually reports. You must arose the dialogue confirms and

try again. Therefore much time now passes although maybe

you wanted to look up something only shortly on your drive.

What is much worse, these continuous changes from running

and standby incriminate your hard disk, that becomes

mechanics, immensely incriminated and a fast wear of the

hard disk is the consequence.
